I admit family guy is very good but some simpsons moments are classics, ok, family guy is probably better, but still, imagine life without simpsons, what would they paint on sky vans , what would we have all watched before family guy

I don't think family guy would be what is today without the success of the simpsons.

It's a song by Carly Comando, called every day, see her My-Space. I am as yet unable to find anywhere to download it from.

I must admit, at first (i mean while watching the Noah You-tube video), I thought it sounded like a song used in the Truman Show, at the end, when he is on the boat, a lovely peice of piano music, very similar indeed.

Edit: Ok, silly me for not checking her myspace more often, it's now available through Itunes, just search for 'Carly Comando', it only returns one result.

Thanks John. I'll have to check out the My Space page. I hope there's more of the same.

I checked utube and could only find one without music. Could have been removed because of copyright.

Might as well have the orginal.

If you play them both together, you get the OP's orginal vid.

I thought it was quite inspired of The Simpsons to do this - it's a continuation of their latest series being a lot more up-to-date and, in some regards, controversial than ever before. Much akin to Family Guy which has enjoyed great success on the back of being un-PC and, at times, downright offensive. Love them both equally.

Simpsons is no where near as risqué as Family Guy i dont think, although ive not watched a full episode of The Simpsons for some time.

I applaud The Simpsons but cheer for Family Guy.

Thats ace :smashin: The Simpsons is the greatest show in TV history IMO.

I love Family Guy but Peter Griffin has nothing on Homer. Shock value and questionable jokes can't beat genuinely well written humour.

Although if it was a question of Lois Or Marge - then i'd be running over the hill with Lois everytime. Lois even out betty's Betty.

Sounds like a blatant rip off to me.

    Track 14 - Truman Sleeps.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so; I mean it's only marginally different, if at all. It is quite funny, if you read her myspace comments people think she's some sort of genius, I think she's just 'adapted' an already brilliant piece of music.

This is the boat 'scene' music i thought it reminded me off.

But Since you said 'Truman Sleeps' I think that must have been the tune it reminded me off.

Yes, it sounds like both pieces are fairly similar.

I like both, but the Carly Comando piece sounds a little more dramatic.

I listened to the full 5m 45s on the Carly Comando. I love the first 2 minutes, but then the tune lost the plot a little which I thought was a pity, then it comes back around again the last 90s or so.

Yeah, there used to be a time when I would listen to it at least once day, suppose it helped I had it as my myspace profile song. I know what you mean, does sort of seem to lose itself in the middle parts.
