I am a new member and not technically minded so please make allowances. My question is: I currently have basic sky (not sky plus/HD or anything) which I have connected to my telephone landline. I have a second landline in the house which I am going to use exclusively, that is; the line the sky is connected to will be discontinued. As the second line (one to be retained) is upstairs in a study it is not practical to run a cable from the box to the sky box. Will I be breaching my contract by not having the connection made through a telephone line? (I am not in the first year of a contract), or is there some method of connecting without the need to run a cable all the way from the study. I should add I never use the interactive services I believe the telephone connection is there for. My telephone provider is BT not Sky. Thanks in advance. Malx.
