We have a popcorn hour 410 and love it, what i need is a network based media player that i can put a hard disc in and transfer films to that a 10 year old can use. no fancy audio required, just a library type front end to see the available content and simple play
hdmi out and doesn't have to be wireless.
suggestions?

I thought that, can i attach an external hd? does it have a graphical ui, or even pics of the films? or just a list of titles (file names)

You can plug in a external HD, sorry I cant remember about the UI, but seem to recall that there were pics

UI is pretty simple, and there are pictures of the movies etc they would want to watch.
there is parental control if I recall as well, tho not sure how this works with 18+ movies. depends on the source I guess.
