I’ve looked around at various DVD players and can't find exactly what I want, so thought that perhaps I should build a HCPC.

I have a Panny AE100 and a Toshiba Rear Projection TV 50WH18B. So if possible, want to use the HCPC for both.

I know how to connect the HCPC to the Panny via VGA, but as the Tosh is not Prog Scan capable and at best would use its component inputs, how do I connect the HCPC to the Tosh for best PQ or can it not be done ? Is it as simple as a VGA to component adaptor of some kind or is another video card output more suitable?

I have also recently bought a Meridian 568 processor. Again, how best to connect the HCPC to the Meridian. (5.1 for now but moving up to 7.1 in the future) and what kind of soundcard and cable ?

    Thanks for all or anyhelp.
