    Hi all,

    Can anybody help here?

The touch-screen on my SIMpad has broken. It still displays fine but doesn't respond to the stylus, my finger or anything! I have tried both soft and hard reset, but when it asks me to calibrate the screen it doesn't respond when I touch the screen. The rest of the system is fine and I can see the device from my PC.

Is the display broken? Can I geta spare part from anywhere? Is there anything I can check inside the casing?

Thanks in advance for any help,

    Robin

...dont know if you have sorted your problem, but I found that there are two capacitors that can cause this.

Do a google for linux, capacitor and simpad.. you will hopefully find the article!
