Sim2 - ht300 Link or D35?

A bit like waiting for a bus, two upgrade offers have come my way at once. Both are similar spec, except the HT300 resolves a 15 metre connection issue nicely. That aside, which is the better pj? my key concerns are image quality in HD and SD, and fan noise. Anyone know both well enough to pass judgement? Bulb life etc are all ok.
