Well I got in to see the SIM2 3CX thing at end of show today. Unfortunately Alan wasn't there....it seems they have been doing demo's with an HTPC and it had died....so they had dropped back to D THEATRE and were showing Beauty of Japan tape. I'm going to wait till tomorrow when the HTPC will hopefully be working so I can give it a fair go.

So far though great 3chip DLP...no doubt.

I loved the C3X when I saw it at RTFMs a while back, and it was revealing/defining shadow detail better than any other projector I've seen so far. For me the only drawback was how it rendered poor transfers which could tend to be a little noisy image wise.

How does the Ruby compare would you say? Any ideas how it would look with poor transfers and DVD in general?

    Thanks

    Gary.
