uncle has just bought a new dvd player. it has RGB output and his tv excepts RGB input. so naturally he will want to use that connection. he asked me this and i got stumped and had a silly mind memory loss hehe. Q1 will he need a special RGB Scart or will a good Thor for example do & Q2 will audio pass through the normal scart with the RGB signal so he can have audio through the tv its self ?

excuse the silly question guru's but i need to know

Any fully wired scart will carry RGB and stereo sound.
You can get an RGB only scart that will not carry any sound.

The Thor scart cables are good for the money and AFAIK they are all fully wired and will therefore carry both RGB video and stereo sound.
