silicone image vs. faroudja

It seems that silicone image have new chips in the latest US DVD players(denon), but have faroudja done nothing new. They just seem to stick with the dcdi chipset, will there or has there anything new come from them?

Do the silicone chips minimize the chroma bug like the faroudja does?

According to the avsforum, the FLI2300 is the chip in the upcoming Infocus 7200 DLP, about $10000 US(!) Don't know if/when a european release is coming. projectorcentral.com has more info on it...

The chip must come in dvd players at a reasonable price.. the chip only costs 20$ for the companies doesn´t it?

Do the silicone chips minimize the chroma bug like the faroudja does?
Sil504 which is their lastest deinterlacer does not have chroma filter. - does not mask chroma upsampling error.

I've heard that their new upcoming 'DVDO iScan Ultra' which also features their newest Sil504 for deinterlacing, does have seperate ICs for chroma filter.
