Silent/Very quiet External HDD

Guys,

I'm looking for a recommendation on a very quiet/silent 1TB External Hard Drive (USB).
This is to be attached to my Apple TV which will be in the lounge, and my current hard drive is just too loud.

Any ideas?

I also have the 2.5" 320gb version, cracking drives and yes the 2.5" is virtually silent, you'd have to put it up right close to hear it slightly

I would definitely go with a 2.5", I personally like the WD Passports, they have them in the 1TB size, it's slightly expensive, but worth every penny if you're going for silent.

I have an HTPC that uses an SSD for the OS and 1TB 2.5" for everything else, you can't go wrong.
