    I'm think of getting signs

checked out DVDsoon - less than a tenner. mmm
checked CDwow - 13.99 using links and vouchers

then I checked out rewind to see if R1 was the better version

It says that R2 is better because it has a DTS soundtrack, also saying R2 is due out 31 march. Everything else is the same and R2 is uncut

Play dont list the R2 version for 31st March.

So which to plump for.... any suggestions?

I have the R1 which I am very pleased with. I guess it's all down to the DTS sound track Graham. Personnal that just wouldn't win it for me :)

but the price difference would in the region of a fiver. is DTS worth a fiver. whats the DD5.1 like - if thats stonking already I wouldn't have thought DTS would justify a 50% uplift

I do tend to get DTS in preference to DD5.1 but 50% is 50%

If the DD5.1 is lacking then I may wait for the R2 version

Well for less than a tenner I'll get the R1 now and if, in April everybody raves about how good the R2 is maybe I'll upgrade

The Soundtrack is pretty laid back anyway no explosions or gunfire just some nice ambent effects. Plus the DD track is in EX where as when the R2 is released the DTS track will more than likely just be a 5.1 mix not an ES, Oh Baby.

Watched this the other night R2, dont think ill watch it again. This film is so laid back it hardly keeps your pulse going. A few nice moments that make you smile but thats it. This film could of been so much more, just when things start to happen it all goes black or gets cut short. Just doesnt deliver what it promises.

I watched R2 last night, as said already, DD soundtrack is ambient and subtle, has some good steering, PQ is average not stunning.
Enjoyed the film but wouldn't buy it.
