I bought a Freeview USB stick and I'm absolutely certain that the other day I recorded a program that had the little sign language man in the bottom right corner, and the picture was set in a frame around the edge of the screen. However when I play this back it's full screen and there's no sign language. I tried recording other programs with sign language to test this and it's still there when I play these back. The only difference I can think of is that I started recording these when the sign language man was already on-screen whereas I started recording the first programme just as it started and no man had appeared at that point.

Am I just hallucinating or has the sign language really been removed from the Freeview recording, and if so how? It's about time they made sign language optional, like sub-titles already are, rather than having to have special versions of those shows that have them.
