I just purchased this to get a full range of lenses as i wanted a decent lens with wide angle.
I feel its going to be one of the best purchases i made.
Already taken a few shots and love it.
OK, not the best shots in the World ...... its my shed in my under-lookedafter garden !!!! But the angle of view is amazing, im about a foot away form the bottom of the shed. :

Nice & sharp. I can see you wandering around looking for really strange angles now. The sky is cool - did you have a polariser on?

no i didnt, i was surprised at the colour aswell. I havent touched the image at all.

I got the lens from Warehouse express for a shy under £300. I could have sourced it a bit cheaper, but need it for the weekend (a wedding) and needed ext day delivery .... which i got

Im off for a walk with the lad tomorrow, so going to take it with me and take random shots of random things.

This is the beauty of photographing with an intersting lens, EVERYTHING is a subject.

Cheers guys..I use one of these for the mount, there are lots of different ones available at varying prices:

I don't tend to let the camera just hang with it in position, although it is sturdy enough. I don't use a remote release so always have hold of the camera to trip the shutter.... and just in case :)

    Couple more:
