Anyone any idea why only DVD Soon and DVD Import (both Canadian) seem to be listing Shrek 2 for pre-order? Can't find it on any US retailer (i.e. DVD Pacific). I want the US version, to avoid the dual language packaging on the Canadian issues.

I too have this version of Shrek 2 and it does not have all the extras, but the video is totally untouched and looks stunning (even so i am buying to go with my copy of Shrek 1)

would never buy or sell illegal copies, downloaded this one and it is as great as the first one and so will be purchased once available although i here that it wont be packaged with shrek 3d and that it is only going to be packed with shrek 1 which is annoying.

No but its better than buying or selling though, for one your not deceiving people (as most sellers do) + your not paying people and letting them benefit from piracy.

I use downloading as a type of rental instead of paying £1 for a online rental service if i like the film i will buy it if i dont i will trash it, now wrong or not i will carry on doing it

To be fair, i think this is fair practise as long as its not abused. Why pay all the money for a film if you do not like it, if you are doing what betamac does, as long as the film is deleted after viewing then there is no harm

Mmmm... you're forcing a subjective approval on something that is fiscal. You won't know you like it until you see it and even if you do like it you can "justify" to yourself that you don't.

If we're talking film as entertainment it's like saying you won't pay for a rollercoaster ride until you've been on it first, and reserve the right to not pay if you don't like it.

Then no-one (apart from some moralistic characters) would.
