I've seen a few (in the LCD thread) but hoping you could all post yours - About to buy one soon interested to see how they look. Also not sure whether to wall mount it or not.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the pics guys. Judders yours looks more like 37" in that pic - must just be the angle or something. Hopefully I'll be getting the 32GA4E soon :)

Judders I don't suppose you could do me a huge favour and measure the 32GA4 for me (without the speakers, like you have it) as sharps website always takes me to the 26" GA pdf file instead.

Are you pleased with your aquos TV's? I'm putting mine on my desk next to my computer monitor and was planning on using my logitech Z-5500 5.1 surround sound speakers - would this work ok? I plan on getting a freeview PVR and DVD player so I guess I would plug the speakers into the 5.1 out on those? logotechs website states you can run up to 6 devices simultaneously.

    thanks, nick.

Hi, I took some pics of my 26GA3E when I installed it. This is a shot I took once it was installed...

Then I powered up the PS2 and loaded GTA: San Andreas...

And then I tested out the DVD playback (Progressive Scan - Pioneer 575 - Star Wars: ROTJ)

..by far the best £900 ive ever spent...

Great pics guys - much appreciated. Fxnet is that a LC32GA4E?

The place I was planning on ordering a 32"GA4 from sold out while waiting for some money to clear from my savings account to my regular account so looks like I'll have to scrap up the pennies and go for the 37" :D

Do you think it will looks stupid/out of place on my computer desk? it won't be used for a pc monitor but the desk is the only place for it, having said that it's quite a large desk. Also do you think the picture will be ok watching from only 2-3 metres away?

is the only difference between the GA3 and GA4 that the 3 has a bottom speaker and the 4 has sides? and both are removable?

I won't be using the speakers the sharp comes with so it's not really an issue for me although I think if I go for the GA3 series instead of the 4 the tv is higher up.

    Hey Nick,

I would've loved the 37" but it just wouldn't have fit on the wall with my front speakers. I'm still really happy with it though. Took me a while to sus out the settings (see other threads) but now that I have, it looks fantastic when fed with DVD and really good with Sky.

Do you still need me to get the measurements for you?

    Jud

No managed to get the measurements off of sharps site in the end thanks. Looks 90% likely I'll be getting the Sharp LC37GA4E in a week or two :D which will be nice although hard on the old wallet.

EDIT: btw does anyone know if any reviews on the net anywhere covering the 37" GA3 or GA4 ? Had a quick google but couldn't find anything.

£2500 from tvandvideodirect.com used the finance option so the price tops out a little.not happy about paying so much but everyone else in the house seems to want a lcd or plasma so we are getting that. still shall be better than the 15yrold 10" screen im using to watch football at the moment.

btw if your intrested in it they said they only had 2 left, when i called em around 3pm today

Here's my Sharp LC-32GA4E. Speakers are still on for normal Sky viewing to remain girlf friendly wheras the DVD and Xbox go through the Denon AVF-100 system into the B&W 601S3 fronts, and Denon flatpanel centre and rears (rebadged Mission NXT speakers)

Sorry about the blurriness on the close ups - shutter speed too slow!
