    Hi

Was going to go to Argos tomorrow to buy a Mikomi 17in LCD to replace the 14in TV we have now as a main tv (Limited space available and other half not keen on large tv's (her large tv's are 21in & over)).
I have just been chatting to a friend who has recommended me to wait until end off year as prices will plummet. He said Sharp & Samsung will be flooding the market then as they both have new factorys.

What would you recommend wait or buy and if so is the Mikomi a decent TV. Will be running a Cheap DVD player (£29 from Tesco's) & a goodmans freeview box. Almost forgot my xbox

    Thanks

Something to watch - a 17" widescreen LCD TV will give you about as much a vertical picture as a 12" CRT.

^^Not true. A standard 14" 4:3 CRT TV is actually about 13.5" in diagonal viewing area. So, the dimensions are:

    - 13.5" Diagonal
    - 10.8" Width
    - 8.1" Height

Since an 17" Widescreen LCD is actually 17" across, the dimensions are:

    - 17" Diagonal
    - 14.8" Width
    - 8.3" Height

    So there.
