I have got a Panasonic DVD, cant remember which model, had it for nearly three years, hardware upgraded to MR from date of purchase.

Having recently bought a Denon 1603 AV receiver, I cant help but think that maybe I should upgrade my DVD player also?

What is the general consensus of opinion with respect to an upgrade? The picture quality will I am sure be better (I have SVideo output only currently), will the sound quality be better for music and DVD? If so, how much better?

    Worth it or not?

I was thinking along the lines of a Tosh 220 for reference - unless anyone has a better recommendation?

    Cheers,

    Steve.
