My tv dun support 1080p..thx

What is the display ?

Some display such as Panasonic don't support film cadence detection which may cause artefacts/loss of resolution with film based content using 1080i.

So if my TV dun support film cadence detection than i should never use 1080i?
How could i know whether my TV support it?

Test patterns are available that should provide a definitive answer.
