Im moving to Hong Kong for a year this summer and Im going through all my things trying to decide what to keep in storage and what to sell. My Hitachi TX-100 is great, I love it, but I dont know whether I should take it to HK.
    I have three choices:

    1. Sell projector and buy a new one when I come back from HK
    2. Keep projector in storage
    3. Ship projector to HK

Of course if I dont take it to HK then I will have to buy a new one out there [or a big LCD screen to use as monitor and for viewing film]. I dont think I should keep it in storage since it would devalue too much sitting there doing nothing for a year.
It is possible to take it to HK - its quite small enough to take - but I'm not sure if I should do that. Warranty may become an issue.

    What do you think?

Do a search on Google to find out how much the TX100 costs in HK. This should tell you the relative price differences between here and there and, who knows, you may find the TX100 is worth more second hand in the UK than it costs to buy new in HK.

you should consider selling it. There are plenty of new stuff at incredible prices out there (I was there last week).
Should you wish to sell, I am definitively interested!
