I bought a 19" tft monitor for my comp recently, (Dell 1905 - a great monitor by the way for the price :smashin: ) and I worried terribly that I might suffer dead pixels - especially near the cntre of the screen which would be unbearable. Mainly because I always heard that lcd screens have this problem. But I never knew plasma could have it too until I read some posts in this forum.

But is it much more rare for plasma to have dead pixels over lcd? And should I worry about it? RS will let me view a screen first befoer I buy, but I wondered if there was any good basic test for screen imperfections? or should I not worry?

Don't worry - dead pixels / stuck pixels are very rare from all the plasmas that I have seen.
