    Hi guys,

    Getting a new tv soon,

and was going to get the scht855 at the same time, but then thought, the blueray/hddvd players are like 800 now, but next year, they will be half that.

I dont want to get the scht855, then next year have to get a new system again.

What do you think i should do?

(p.s how good is scht855 at making films look better with hd leads?)

If players do come down, do you think i would be able to just buy a new panasonic box, and keep all the speakers?

    Cheers guys.

Can thoroughly recommend this unit. Its superb at upscaling ordinary dvd's (watch mine @ 1080i), and the sound quality is excellent. Buy one, guarantee you won't regret it.

Get one now mate, worst case scenario is you get a year of excellent picture quality and superb sound!I've had mine for about a month now and am very happy with it,not planning to buy HD-DVD or Bluray until the competition has been resolved.
