Should i get a scaler??

    i have a pioneer435fde at the moment. after doing a bit of reaserch ( i mean a bit) i think it could be a good idea to get a scaler to improve my images. am i right in this idea. So i worndering...

    1. what improvement will i see

    2. can u suggest a scaler for under 250quid

    3. how do you install one.

    Nothing at that kind of money is likely to perform any miracles, though if you do not have an HDMI DVD player, a 2nd hand iscan ultra might be worth a punt. There is a slight anomaly in it's digital output which might prevent it working on your screen though. I believe it puts out 572p or something digitally, that would be a pain. A true scaler is nearer £7-800 for the basic LUmagen or iscan HD. Then you can get serious.
