or should i just get a normal one, £30 cheaper, as on my current dvd player i only had to type in a code to make it multi-region. will this work with the e85?

    No it won't.
Panasonic machines are a bit more difficult tp make muti region. You can hire a special remote to do it but it's probably easier to buy a M-R one in the first place.
Just bought an e-85, multi region from Richer Sounds for £399, great machine, great price (though I bet someone posts somewhere even cheaper in the next 10 mins)

The only snag with buying one already Multi-regioned is the fact that it may possibly say just that on the receipt so come warranty repair time could come back to haunt you.

visit the richersounds website and print the price list. The local brsnch should then honour that price. Got mine that way from Croydon.
