Well personally I wouldn't bother, seems a waste of money to me as surely the console was tried & tested to run at the temperatures it reaches.

Just my opinion & obviously it gets pretty damn hot where I am:devil:

save your money, the add on fans are a bit gimicky imo. I would just ensure you site the console in a well ventilated place.....give her plenty of room to breathe :smashin:

Isn't your 360 loud enough without adding more fans

I don't know about anyone else but I stand mine vertical so as it can breathe all around. The heat dissipates better for me.

My console becomes a lot hotter when it's placed horizontal. The top and bottom would get hot. I'm sure other people have it horizantal and it's fine but mine crashed.

Mine is always in the same place with plenty of ventilation but I found that works better. So try chaging your setup maybe if it's getting hot/crashing and see what happens

I'd have thought Microsoft would have designed them to run at much higher temperatures than we would get to in the UK. What about all the Yanks that have them in their trailers parks. (Mention that to them on XBLive and then run for cover).

    Ooohh!

Just thought, SS4 will be back soon so expect to hear alot of hype about how fantastic & essential an external fan is.

Haha, just spit my coffee all over my keyboard when I read that:rotfl: :rotfl:

Personally I wouldn't bother with a fan, for me I can see no advantage in using one. Have a search there has been plenty of debate on these external fans already...

For a minute I thought you meant the cheerleading-type fan, pom-poms and all! I could always do with a bit of support in a tight match every now and then

Much as everyone says, making sure the unit is ventilated is the most important thing - so don't go wrapping it in a jumper, for example...

I take it a t-shirt should be ok though, right? Works out alot cheaper than a replacement case;)

Off topic but good luck with your move rio1981.
