I'm looking to get a 23" w/s LCD for the bedroom, can't go bigger due to space where I want to wall mount it

It's mainly for TV viewing but I also want to connect a PC to it to watch recordings made from a nebula freeview card in the pc downstairs and playing mp3s.

G/F wants a LCD tv so there's no waiting for PC to boot or having to turn hifi on for sound. I can't find a decent lcd tv with DVI (plenty of 26" ones) so have started looking at widescreen monitors (I'll get her a universal remote!!).

There's plenty of nice monitors but am I going to have more hassle with this option? The ones I've looked at are all 1600x1200 so I'm going to need a decent GFX card to drive it and what are tv resolutions files/live tv going to look like stretched to this resolution??

    Thanks,
