Should I earth my equipments chassis?

    I'm going to build some new cables for my kit as part of a whole re-wiring / tidying up exercise. Currently all my kit just takes 2 core flex, ie no earth. If I weave some new cables with an earth core should I connect it to the equipments chassis or just leave it dangling (insulated of course)?

    Unless you already have a ground loop problem then just leave it as is. At best you won't notice any difference, at worst you'll induce ground loops which are bad. :)
