Hi all i'm just in the process of selling my Benq PJ in the classifieds as we speak, due to WAF factor, now need to get a plasma was looking at a PW7 is this still the best buy?

if so where should one get one from as they seem a bit thin on the ground.

If you decide on the PW7 or PWD7 then avsales have a special offer for the screen, a wall mount and a component input board for £1150. Richersounds have the screen only for £999. These prices are for the 42" model.
You should be aware that this is a screen only and does not include a tuner or speakers but this isnt a problem if you have sky or freeview and a surround system.
To connect a sky or freeview box you will need to use an input board, these are available in component, s-video, scart and composite and cost about £100 each.
This screen is not HD ready which means it will not display a high definition input. HD is a new format that sky will introduce in a couple of years but will probably make you buy a new sky box to enjoy.
It is complicated world the land of plasmas but one which is a lot of fun once you enter it.

    Good post :smashin:

Except that it WILL display HD input.
It's just that it will be SD (as we have now).
Just to clarify for Noobies
