I'm looking to buy my first flat panel TV to replace a very nice Sony kd32dx51 CRT set.

There's nothing wrong with it and it gives an excellent picture but I'm also buying a PS3 and want hi-def gaming and Blu-ray.

I've got no plans to get SkyHD just yet (freesat is a possibility) and will be using a freeview Humax PVR connected via SCART and also an X-Box for tv downloads

Top of my list at the moment is the KDL40W4000 which is around the £800 mark but I'm slightly tempted to step up to the W4500 to get the 100hz and higher contrast ratio.

Is it worth the extra money , or is there something else I should be considering?

I d get the 40W4500 the best at this price, top tv

Hi there.

Well, I just looking for new TV, and I understand that the Sony KDL-32V4500 is a bit better than KDL-32V4000, is it right?

I saw somewhere that V4500 don't have S-video input, its right?

Thanks

the 32V4500 is better than 32V4000 yes.

Oh, thanks. ;)

And is there S-video Input on the 32V4500?
And one more question, I have read in Sony homepage, that 32V4500 weight is 29kg , but 32V4000 is like other normal lcd weight 13-15kg, is it true, I don't believe it.

I cant confirm S-video or not.As for the weight, yeah its a strange fact!
