Should getting a replacement set solve my problem?

Just got a Toshiba 32Z23B and it seems to have some colour bleed(words on screen seem to have a shadow especially red green and blue words) its very noticable when running through an rgb lead.

I know its not the leads and can be seen on broadcasts, though not as much.

The engineer came out noted the problem and arranged for a repair,I've since contacted comet and hopefully arranged a replacment.

But could this be an inherent problem with the model, or will a replacement hopefully sort it out.

Seen a lot of people on here getting a second to 3rd replacement set and was wondering does this normally solve faults you encounter or should I ask for a different set say a Thomson 32WF401G.

Any advice would be great as will have to sort this out with comet asap.
