What is your motivation behind desiring this product? I'm not saying you should or shouldn't desire it, I'm merely trying to get a better understanding of your circumstances.

Next, what is your goal? If you simply want better sound that your built-in TV speakers, the bar would probably be enough. However, if you want serious movie performance then you will probably need to add the Subwoofer.

The SONOS Playbar alone is about £500 to £600, but when the Subwoofer is added, the price jumps to about £1150 to £1500 depending on the source.

The real advantage is the ability of SONOS products to stream Audio from you computer network, either from the computer, from NAS (network attaches storage, or the Internet in the form of Internet Radio. Is that a specific feature motivating you to look at this product?

Generally SONOS products are well regarded, so the underlying question become how well does this product fit your specific budget, and how well does it meet your goals?
