Any recommendations of a cheap and reliable company that will collect and shock, horror even deliver the parcel to Orkney

do not suggest parcel2go / Yodel they have let me down again, 2 failed collections and no sign of anything positive happening with them.

Which is it?
The one in your title is 31 miles south of Budapest, the one in your post is 10 miles north of Caithness. :)

Interparcel will do it but depending on size, may only be through Yodel. In which case you may as well stick an address label on the top & print a big picture of a thumb & stick it on the the side. Then leave it at the side of the road & hope it hitch-hikes it's way there...

I think FedEx from mainland to orkney will be around £35. make sure you wrap it will though because although it will be delivered promptly it could be smashed.
