I saw a pair of mission floorstanding speakers in my local AV shop the other day, but didnt get the model number off them to do a bit of research on them, they were available in either a beech finish or black, with small grilles at the top of the speaker, in a shiny sort of finish...any ideas what they were ? I've looked on the Mission website and they arent listed so possibly are not this years models..

    Hi,

I think you mean the M5 series. They are Mission's new range and do at least look the part. I think we are all just waiting for the reviews before demoing. Well, why just not demo!!
I'm not sure of the prices but would be similar to the 77 range I guess.

    cheers

Yep, they were listed in the shop at £499..so they had better be as good as they look for that sort of cash...

They sound like the wonderful 782s to me. But they are £699 a pair....
