Hi guys,
I am the proud owner of a Sherwood RD-7103R receiver. It is an old piece of hardware but it works flawlessly. However, I have the problem, that I lose all my settings (all radio channels and surround settings) during a power outage. Shouldn't there be a battery inside to keep these settings? If this is the case, I can simply replace this battery (like replacing the BIOS battery of an old PC) and be happy.
In the manual, the following chapter tells me, that there must be a battery inside. But how can I replace it?
"MEMORY BACKUP FUNCTION: The following items, set before the receiver is turned off, are memorized. INPUT SELECTOR settings, Surround mode settings, Preset stations, etc.
Note : If the electricity fails or the AC input cord is disconnected for more than 2 weeks, all memorized functions will be lost. Please enter them into memory, again"
Thanks,
