My friend has a Sherwood RD6108R and is experiencing a hum from his rear speakers. He has changed the reciever with RS with no change. He is going to try alternative rears but I just wondered if anyone knew of any known issues with this amp.

    thanks in advance

You might like to ask it at www.hometheaterforum.com. One of Sherwoods small team posts there sometimes.

RS is Sherwoods only UK dealer AFAIK and they are not a particularly well known brand here, I think you'd have more luck on a US site.

In all seriousness Stuart has a Sherwood himself and has a relationship with his local RS manager. He would know.
Try a PM or a F.A.O. Stuart Wright thread.

thanks for this. I will try your suggestions. The reciever has what sounds like an American to UK power converter. I wonder if this could be the problem?
