Sharpness and Hue on BD808s?

    I know this is a bit of a noob question, but why do the Sharpness and Hue button on my BD808s remote not do anything? Are they supported on any Barco models?

    I think you'll find that they apply to certain input types only.

    Certainly the Hue control will only have an effect on a Composite NTSC source.

    I'm guessing (and hoping) that you are using a signal better than NTSC so it won't work in your installation.

    Ah now I see. Yes I'm using a component output from a TMA PSM192 module. Thanks.

    They will only work when the signal goes through the projectors decoder. So composite, s-video or component. You are sending it an RGB signal. therefor bypassing its decoder.
