They are bringing out the full collection of the series, all 14 episodes/programs/films.
Pity the aspect ratio is 4:3 as I though there was an ever so small a crop top and bottom of some of the earlier stories. I was hoping the might have done what they did with the Time Machine and cropped just that bit more and shown the series in anamorphic16:9.

Is this the same as the R1 version i've been thinking of getting for ages???

If not there is a sublime R1 "complete" version that comes in a beautiful wooden box, with an linen map of old europe. Not the old europe you're thinking of mind, rumsfeld fans.

What is the difference between this and the 14 disc box set that has been available for at least a year in R2?

I had an e-mail from Choices Direct this morning; they currently have £40 off this.
Don't know if that make it a good price as I haven't looked.

Yes it is the best price I can see, also notice it is only that price for a short time only.

Wait for the next HMV sale. The discs are always 7.99 each.

Thought of that for the box set but the if there is 7 in the series of separate disc at £7.99 that is £55.92 for them the nice box set from Choices Direct is £59.99.
