What do you think to the Sharp XR1X. Does anybody have anything to say about it for Sky and Pc use? Looks good but has anybody used 1?
Under £1000 doesnt seem too bad. What do you think?
    Cheers

It's okay for a multi purpose.
    It's 1024 x 768 , but it does have a stratch mode option.
To connect Sky, you are having to connect via, Composite (Worst Picture Quality) S-Video (Normal) or get something like a Syncblaster cable to connect from Scart to 15-pin VGA giving you RGB (Above average).
Personally, I would go for the S model at a cheaper price so it's closer to your Sky boxes resolution, but if you are going to use it mainly for the PC, stick with the X.
It is a tiny unit and would sit nicely on the a desk, but don't expect to ceiling mount it.
