Sharp SL-DV10 - Hack Required

My mate has the above model and he is unable to play a DVD I have lent him even though it's R4 Pal version

I have had a look for a hack but can't find one

Anyone know if ones available?

A hack might be found eventually but sometimes they never are. Best bet is somehow return the dvd player and get a refund and buy something that is multiregion capable. I have a sharp dv-740h and its excellent but then its only badge engineered and not really a sharp product at all. I suspect his model of dvd player could also be badge engineered but its finding out what the player is based on.

I've just purchased one of these for my bedroom from Shop At Digital for £49.95 and it is multi region - so it is hackable, but I'm sorry I don't know the procedure how to hack it.
