    Hi Guys

Just ordered this monitor in black from www.digiuk.com for £292.58 with free delivery, seems like a good deal and i personally think its one of the best looking LCD's at the moment.
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this or the 171-G.

    Cheers

    Hi,

Just looking at these lcd monitors and wondered how you got on with yours?

I am looking at either this LL-172G or the Iiyama E431S.

    Any advice welcome. Thanks

Is that correct that it has DVI as the 171 didn't. To me it's what let the 171 down.

    re ebay advert:

But there's inconsistancy in the model number. The title says LLT19D1-B, the inner title LL19D4 and writeup LL-191A. Which one is it I wonder?

Because the LLT19D1-B has only 25ms response time.

Well after much faffing about and hours trawling the net. I decided on the 19 and you are right it is only a 25ms model. So I thought what else is around and eventually decided on the AG Neovo F419 Which boasts 10-15ms refresh 700:1 contrast ratio.

    Expecting delivery next week (hopefully)

Errr don't want to rock the boat here, but i'm pretty sure the AG Neovo F419 is a 15/10ms monitor, which is 15ms rise 10ms fall time, IE. 25ms monitor. NOT 10-15ms.

    DOH!

I didnt realise that, I hope it will be ok. I guess I will have to wait and see.

After hours of number bashing and searching I think sometimes you have just got to dive in and test the water?

I have had notification of it shipping to me so I will post back any first reactions and opinions.

    Thanks

OK Got the F419 today and up and running.

Its very easy to setup and includes both analog and digital DVI cables. Factory setup is very bright and needs to be adjusted but running in native 1280x1024 mode is very pleasing on the eye and the picture is solid. Colours are vivid and clear with crisp fonts.

The only issue may be with the response time, I have quickly tried a few games and whilst the all look fantastic, I have also tried a copy of star wars episode2 in highdef which shows some lag on the fast moving action scenes.

Overall, very impressed, but I am not sure if i would want to rely on this screen for all my pc, games and dvd viewing pleasure.

    For what its worth. thanks.
