Sharp LC52XD1E vs Sony KDL-46X2000

hey, im now looking for a hgih end 'Full HD tv and these seem to be the two best I can afford.

Ive heard great things about the sony but can also afford a larger sharp for roughly the same price.

So what im really asking is what advantage will one give me over the other. Whats the off air, and HD performance compare between them both as the obvious advantage is a huge tele from sharp but is there a difference in picture quality between the two?

If you aren't totally set on a flatscreen, check out the Sony 55" 1080p LCoS. Much cheaper than both of those (£1500 from amazon), and bigger than both. The picture is definitely better than the Sharp too - not seen the Sony.
