Sharp LC42XD1E or LC46XD1E, help

I am looking to buy a 1920 x 1080 panel for home. I have looked carefully at the specks and the Sharp is coming out on top, and for the money seems a good choce.
Is there a noticable diffence between the 46in with better specks and the 42in which I would prefer due to size. Can anyone help!

Hello,

Empire direct have the 42" model a full £400 cheaper than Currys so i am sure during the Xmas sale there price will tumble. If not a good old price match discussion wouldn't harm.

I have not read that the different size panels have differing specification, but best to thouroughly check.
