Hi all,

It took me a while after purchasing the Sharp LC42X20E to get the display settings correct. Out of the box, it looks terrible and the default / pre-set ones aren't very good.

Here's the settings I'm using which works nicely for me. Please post your's if you have better ones.

The ones I've posted is display configuration via a media center, so blacks look as black as possible and whites look as white as possible without over brightness. Rest of the settings is personal preference.

OPC = off
Backlight =+12
Contrast = +39
Brightness = -14
Colour = +1
Tint = 0
Sharpness = 0

Advanced
Colour temp = Mid-High
Action Mode = On
Active Contrast = Off

gikseiman your settings are ok but still not to my liking, the pictures still not natural. Its a little to bright and dull at times. Still waiting for someone to come up with calibrated settings!
