    Hi
    I have been trying to convince myself i can afford the 9986 but I cant so have been looking at alternatives.The Sharp looks good and has the benefit of being £500 cheaper.But I cant find any reviews.Does anyone know anything about or have any experience of this tv?

    I don't think that there are any in the country yet, so a specific review may not be available. Although similar to the two models it is replacing (GA3 and 4), there may be some difference in the image processing

    I have an option on one when available, but I have recently noticed a 32" Video-7 unit from Ebuyer for £980 which has similar styling, better spec, 2 year warranty and good reviews

    Try searching this forum for GA5.

    General reaction is negative. Apparently it's a lower spec version of the GA3/4. There's no DVI and the speakers can't be removed. I would recommend getting a GA3/4 if you can find one.

    The limited inputs are an issue for me.
    I,ll have a look at the video 7 unit though...
