    Hi everyone!

I'd like to understand wich is the best panel manufacter. In one of the toshiba thread I read about 3 different panel types: LGPhilips pva, AU Optronics, and MCO. I don't understand wich is the best...

and also <<< or >>> pixel orientation... what does it mean? I read a lot of thread speaking:"this tv had <<< pixels, that one >>>". But I don't understand wich is better!

A good FAQ about these issue could be very usefull!!!

And, last but not least: Sharp LC32AD5E, Philips 32pfl5522d, Toshiba 32c3030d or Samsung le32r87bdx: his is my selection... Well, wich one I have to buy?
Someone know if there are differences in receiver?
I must use with an indoor aerial... so I need a very good builtin receiver.

    Thanks!
    Andrea

Best Freeview receiver is the Sharp LC32Ad5E by miles! The Samsung has the worst.

For the money the Sharp is the best TV at only £385. Look for some of my other threads on the Sharp screen for more info.

Best value for money is the Samsung, no contest.

Best freeview quality is up to debate between these tvs, seeing as though none of them are Sony or Panasonic, which have top class freeview tuners.

I would also say that the Sharp has the best Freeview reciever. I've heard that the Philips has some bad motion handling with SD, and I believe the Freeview in Samsung TVs can be problematic. So in your case I would say your choice is between the Sharp and the Toshiba  I can't really help you deicde here as I haven't seen that Toshiba in person, but it did get good reviews. I can vouch for the Freeview picture on the Sharp though, it is better than most others I have seen in this price range.

Unless you live very near the transmitter you could be heading for an expensive disappointment. You will struggle to get a decent picture on any tv with an indoor aerial, particularly a 32" LCD.

I have the Toshiba 32C3035D and I am very pleased with it.

I have mounted it on the wall in the kitchen today and I am quite happy with the result.

    Cheers

It's also nice when the picture you take of your TV has an Aussie batsmen being bowled!!

Hi, I've finally bought the sharp today at ED for 399.99. The picture quality is far from my 32PF7531 that I have in Italy... But quite good for that price.

    Thanks guy!
