Sharp LC26 GA4 - Powers off if Volume too loud

    Finally found the root of this intermittent problem I've been having. If the volume is too loud (not rediculously loud - about 3 quarters of the way up the bar) the TV goes to standby and wont turn on again until the volume is turned down.

    Is this normal????

    this has not happened with mine if thats any help

    Not had that problem on mine either... Will give it a workout tomorrow at a high level and will report back if it does goto standby

    Sorry Bludd - forgot about this thread until I just got the mail about your reply.

    Tried this out the other day and there is deffo no problem with the set going into standby at high volumes. Even tried it cranked up to just about full wack for a few mins and it was fine.

    Where did you purchase yours from Bluud? I would give them a ring and get it reported as a fault.
