Sharp LC22-AD1E or Sony KLV-23M1?

Hi people, I have been studying the LCD TV market for 4 months now and want to dabble my feet in now that I feel I'm ready. But I have a selection problem between the Sharp and Sony. Sony is the newer one out of the two and has the much talked about Wega Engine, but it has no DVI input or PC connection. Whilst the Sharp has all these inputs and a digital freeview tuner built in. The only problem is there aren't any reviews for the Sharp and I can't seem to find it listed on the Sharp catalogue. It is also a hard Tv to track down. Maybe it was only introduced for a couple of months before being discontinued.

The other sticking point is the Sony has, correct me if i'm wrong, 1366 x 768 resolution, whilst surprisingly, the Sharp has a resolution of 854 x 480. I've read elsewhere the Sharp has the same resolution as the Sony.

Size wise both of them are perfect for my bedroom, but need to know which is a better all round TV and why isn't there much information on the Sharp out there. Unless there is a better TV than these two, if so which one? My budget is around £800. :lease:

Thanks in advance for your advice.
