Was going to buy a LC-32GA3E (good price and 3yr warrenty)but have been unable to find it in stock anywhere, then came across the offer on the LC-37HV4E.
A lot more expensive, but is this a good buy at £2000 or would I be better buying a more up to date model.

The reviews I've read on the 37HV4E all give 5star rating.

    Thanks
    Bargey

For £2k, I'd say it's a good deal, although waiting until the new year will probably give you a much better deal again.

Where did you see it for £2000?

webelectrics..........not spoken to them so don't know the stock situation.
No many places seem to have this model now. Only 2 other places advertising
it and they were over £3k.

no definately no dvi on this model but still getting 5* reviews as late as July
    this year.

Think I'm talking myself into it. Should I be concerned?

Hi - I bought the same model about 7 weeks ago for £2575, which I thought was one of the last ones around (alot of sites didn't have stock, even though they were advertising them). Sound is excellent, surprising kick with the detachable speakers. You may be a little disapointed with the black levels (common to alot of LCD's), which really manifests itself in dark scenes. No DVI...

    Hi,
Tempted by this model myself. a Place in Spennymoor (Durham) has got one for 2 grand and they're offering £300 worth of vouchers to spend after christmas if you buy it.Like you say only prob no DVI or HDMI. Maybe someone knows of an interface or converter between these and the PC connector that may be available
