    Tried to buy the Toshiba RDXS32 but it was out of stock the guy said this was a better Machine SHARP DV-HR350H cant find any info and dont want to make a mistake could someone Please advise on this Model

    I don't know anything about it, but I'd suggest downloading the manual (from the same site) and having a look at it.

    I assume this salesman guy doesn't know what he's talking about!

    The Tosh XS32 is well known to be an excellent machine and I doubt anything from Sharp will even come close to it.

    Although I haven't used an XS32. I have the Sharp 300H which I can't fault.

    OK, it doesn't record from the RGB signal, but I honestly can't tell the difference! It does pass the RGB signal through though.

    When I asked a tech guy at Sharp about this, I was told that all DVD recorders should only record composite as there is no Macrovision data on the RGB signal. Apparently this is dictated by the DVD Forum.

    Anyway I'm sure the Tosh is a great machine and was on my short list, but I've been more than impressed with the Sharp. I went for the Sharp as Comet were knocking them out for £299 :D
