Underslung speaker is permanent, my advice, if you can get a GA4 with side speakers, it's a way better screen. They took off a HDCP DVI port to keep the price low for the GA5, not worth it.

The component inputs are HD and the pc input is HDCP DVI port compatible, in the user guide it shows how to connect this.
i have my sony dvd connected via the rgb rca and i have to say the picture quality grabs you.Better than any old plasma :rotfl: .espcially as i am using gold plated oxy free cables and have it set to hd
but it really does come down to signal....
the best screen in the world would look poor with a bad analog RF signal compared to a low performance screen with a 100% digital signal

    Any good you ask?

    Well, in one word YES.
Sure, it doesn't have the digital connection (and if this is important to you then fair enough, look elsewhere)
However, if you are planning to connect DVD/SKY/FREEVIEW etc via RGB Scart or Component, then you will not be disappointed.
If you can get this at a great price, (anything under £1000) then take the plunge. You will find many satisfied owners on these forums.
If necessary, you can always upgrade in 3-5 years.
(let's just see how HD actually takes off...)
This screen is fabulous with a good quality signal (SKY/FREEVIEW) and exceptional with DVD.

I bought it from unbeatable, the shop is local to me and i visited the shop.
i asked the manager and he made it an acception on. he made it very clear it was not usual, but i did get it for 1 penny short of £900 and that is the best price i have seen despite many searches.
    their web site is www.unbeatable.co.uk
