wow that looks amazing value and super fast 6ms that blows all other makes away must be a missed print.
Its not a misprint, the Sharp HD panels are quoted at 6ms. The reason that its so cheap is that it probably is being superseded by the GA9E model.

The LC32GA8E can be picked up for around £640 from a number of outlets now.

The GA8 has the same LCD panel than the GA6, where as the GA9 is the latest generation of panels.

Are you sure the GA8 panel is from the old model?

Both the GA8 and the GA9 are listed on sharp.co.uk as having a 6ms "Advanced Super View and Black TFT LCD Panel", 1200:1 contrast, 450cd/m2 brightness, and a low "eco" power consumption.

Only difference between the two seems to be £350, an extra HDMI connector, and "High Quality Picture Circuit 'truD' (Smooth Video Image Playback)"

The GA6 panel seemed to have a 800:1 contrast and either a 12 or 16ms response - google search seems to suggest either!

Funny.

On the Sharp.fr site, the GA8 is described with a 9ms response time and 800:1 contrast but not on the UK site.

If it is the same panel as the GA9, I don't really see the difference between the 2 sets...
